R&B star Rihanna has been hospitalized with a bad case of flu forcing her to cancel her recent concert in Malmo, Sweden as part of her Loud European tour.
Urban-Nation.com reported that the gorgeous R&B music artist famous for her smash hit R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos had complained of feeling unwell earlier in the day and a doctor was called who said the singer was suffering from the flu virus and had to cancel the show.
Rihanna said: 'I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmö,' she says in a statement. 'I was so excited to perform for you all. 'It would have been a great time...so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh!
'I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there.'
The singer is expected to get well soon and continue the rest of her European tour and is hoping to reschedule this concert at a later date.
Rihanna`s current studio album “Loud” debuted at number three on the Billboard Album charts selling 207,000 copies in its first week of release after being released on November 12 2010. The album featured excellent collaborations with Eminem, Drake & rap sensation Nicki Minaj amongst others and spawned the hit singles & R&B music videos “Only Girl (In The World)”, “What`s My Name” featuring Drake which featured another stunning R&B music videos, “S&M”, “California King Bed”, “Man Down” featuring Shontelle and the final single release “Cheers (Drink To That)”.
Rihanna`s highly anticipated sixth studio album “Talk That Talk” is set to be released on November 21 2011.
