To give some background on the individuals involved, Radi and Deep are both based in Toronto, Canada, while Mithu lives in Gurgaon, India. Radi is currently completing her doctorate in Anthropology and works in the field of environment and development. She previously worked in projects relating to medicinal plants in the Himalayas. Deep is a marketing professional  who used to work as a consultant at the Swedish Trade Commission in New Delhi where he had the opportunity to lead several health care related projects working with leading companies such as Q-Med, Biovitrum and Cavidi. They both attribute their love of holistic remedies to their mother, Mithu, who has been testing her remedies on her family for more than 30 years.
